Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Singh is a highly respected academician and administrator with over twenty-eight years of experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and consultancy. He is a Professor of Electronics Engineering and has previously served as the Vice Chancellor of Patliputra University, Patna, where he contributed significantly to institutional growth, academic governance, and policy implementation at the state university level. Born on 11 June 1969, Prof. Singh has maintained an outstanding academic record throughout his career. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Allahabad University and completed his Master of Engineering from BITS Pilani, one of India's premier technical institutions. He began his professional journey at BITS Pilani as a Teaching Assistant and later worked as a Research Associate and Scientist at CEERI, Pilani (CSIR), gaining strong research and technical experience early in his career. His academic career has been closely associated with B. T. Kumaon Institute of Technology (BTKIT), Dwarahat, where he progressed through the ranks from Lecturer to Professor, attaining professorship at a notably young age. In addition to teaching and research, he has held several key administrative roles, including Director of BTKIT, Registrar, Controller of Examinations, and Officer on Special Duty at Uttarakhand Technical University. Prof. Singh is an accomplished researcher who has guided 22 Ph.D. scholars and more than 15 M.Tech students, published over 120 research papers in reputed journals, and authored eight academic books. He is a member of leading professional bodies such as IEEE and the Institution of Engineers (India).
